ASTROBOWIE OFFICIAL MUSIC COLLECTION

Hello! This is my demo reel for my music composition work, organized by project! This is currently tailored to my application for video game composer at PeakFictionStudio LLC. If you're currently reading this, I hope that you're having a nice day, and that my spread of work impresses you! If you'd like me to provide a reference, feel free to reach out and I can provide you contact information for some people I've worked with in the past.

heaven is with you

A short, 10 minute visual novel which I composed music for! If you'd like to hear them in context, the title is a link to the itch.io page-- otherwise, all 4 tracks are listed below!

Unsaved Changes

Unsaved Changes is a short horror puzzle game made in a week for a Halloween game jam. I wrote and composed for the game, featuring a dynamic sound track made using stems from the single 2 minute song displayed below.

Unused Tracks

In this category, I've collected a couple tracks that I think represent my work well but are unlikely to ever see other public use for whatever reason.

Hit the Streets! is a track I made for a collaboration that didn't pan out. It was made for a platformer set in a city environment.

This is an un-named final boss track I made for an assignment during my time in the Fairfax Academy's Music and Computer Technology program. We were told to create three tracks for the beginning, middle, and end of a video game. While dated, I believe this work happens to best display my prowess with evoking "final boss theme energy".

Kill Jester is a boss track made for what was intended to be a very short RPG Maker game that my collaborators eventually lost interest in pursuing.

Project Wendy Werewolf

Project Wendy Werewolf is the working title for a yet unfinished dream game. It's a turn-based killing game murder mystery inspired by Danganronpa which follows a group of adults with superpowers. I've been collaborating with knivves (the heaven is with you writer and artist) on this project on and off for the past 4 years, and we've got a lot of varied tracks for a lot of different game states by now, so though the project isn't released yet, please enjoy this selection of works from the main campaign as a demonstration of my chops for longer form video game composition.

Carrying On

The Mastermind Revealed

Breaking Point

As a minor point of interest, while most of these tracks use an emulated gameboy sound chip in conjunction with other instruments or otherwise without regard for the limitations of the original hardware, Carrying On is actually composed so that you could theoretically play it on a real gameboy! With the exception of the noise channel-- I implemented those by using samples and a drum machine, so theres occasionally some overlap that would be difficult to reproduce on real hardware.

Fantasia Dreamer

A early draft battle theme I contributed to an RPGMaker game some friends of mine are currently developing called Fantasia Dreamer! Repurposed and remixed from the same project as Kill Jester; if you notice any similar motifs poking through, that's why.

The Heart Moves at 70 Miles per Hour

This is a personal project still in the process of being written and editted. It's a CD story, an album with an accompanying novella that happens to contain several of my favorite tracks I've ever produced.

Stowaway

Lily Amalia Katarina -- Fastest Shot in Appalachia

Waking Nightmare

I look forward to hearing back from you! As I'm sure you can tell from some of these projects, it's been a dream of mine to compose professionally for a video game company for quite some time. If you'd do me the honor of allowing me to work with you, I can promise my heart and soul to your vision, and the full extent of my knowledge to boot. I hope you'll consider me for the position.
